Growing bodies are demanding. They require enough calories, protein and proper nutrients to fuel growth and development.
This isn’t new news. In fact, if you are a parent of a quickly growing child, you are no stranger to these needs.
So, what does it look like to provide your child with sufficient calories, protein and nutrients? All the while keeping the not so favorable fixings out of their diet?

We are proud to be a provider to We Don’t Waste — an innovative provider of food for the hungry. We Don’t Waste collects unused food from venues, caterers, restaurants, and other food purveyors, and distributes the food to Denver’s underserved populations. Their efforts augment existing food and supplies needed by community-based non-profit agencies, with high quality protein, high quality produce along with wholesome, nutritional and varied “restaurant-grade” meals.
Many Americans are desperate for food and water, especially during these strange Covid-19 times. Jessica Gutknecht leads this initiative. Charcutnuvo proudly supports Metro Caring with both product and 10 – 15 hours per week of volunteer time.
Charcutnuvo has made it a tradition to participate in the annual Colfax Marathon. Our relay teams raise between $10,000 and $15,000 per year, and we’ve been running together since 2015. Charcutnuvo is also proudly served at the finish line to the 20k runners that compete in the annual race.
Our CEO, Eric, is on the board of Denver Kids, Inc., an organization that is truly moving the needle in regards to drop out rates amongst the most challenged populations in Denver. Denver Kids, a counseling and mentoring program, believes that “Every Student Counts, Every Student Graduates.”
June 2019, Eric received a check from Mayor Hancock for the Paul Ryan Award on behalf of Denver Kids.
