Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of casings do you use?

The majority of our Natural products are either in pork casings or have no casing (Skinless). If there is a casing present, we will always always state this in the ingredient statement. If there is not a casing listed, then the product is considered skinless and there is no casing on the product.

Organic chicken and beef products have no casings.

Many European items are in sheep or fibrous casings..

Allergen Information

Our facility processes products that contain dairy and gluten. Rigorous protocols and laboratory testing is used to ensure there is not any cross contamination of these allergens into other products we produce. If the dairy and/or Gluten Allergen is present in a product we will clearly state this below the ingredient statement on the package.

We are always free from: Soy, Peanuts, Tree Nuts, and Shellfish.

If you have an allergen or sensitivity not stated above, please contact us and we will gladly talk through any concern or question you may have.

Do you use Sugars, natural flavorings, or harmful chemicals?

The only product that contains added sugar is our Wild Boar with Apricots and Cranberries. We do not use “natural flavorings”. We do not use MSG or other harmful chemicals. Only a few of our European products contain nitrites. This is clearly indicated.

Antibiotics and Hormones

All of our products are Antibiotic and Hormone free. We seek out ranches and farms who never administer antibiotics or hormones to their animals to ensure the most Natural lifestyle possible for the animals as well as keeping antibiotics and hormones out of our food supply.

What does Regenerative mean?

Regenerative ranches are required to abide by certain standards.  The goal is to return the land to its natural state.  Beef must be both grass-fed and grass-finished.  Regenerative farms prioritize soil health, biodiversity, and responsible land management.  They do not use synthetic chemicals such as herbicides and pesticides.  Regenerative ranches practice Holistic (Rotational) Grazing practices for animal well-being.
