- 1 large puff pastry disc
- 1 – 2 links of Charcutnuvo Organic Chicken Apple Sausage, diced
- 2 tbsp jellied cranberry sauce
- About 12 ounces of brie cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 large pinch of salt
Preheat oven to 400 F and place parchment paper onto a large baking sheet. Roll thawed puff pastry disk onto prepared baking sheet.
With a small bowl, gently make a small mold for a small circle in the middle of the puff pastry disc. Using a sharp knife, make a star in the middle of the small circle, making sure not to cut outside the circle.
Outside of the small inner circle, spread the cranberry sauce making sure to leave about ½ in of empty space on the outer edge. Layer diced sausage on top of the cranberry sauce, then layer the brie on top.
Bring each point of the center star over the filling and towards the outer edge of the puff pastry disc. Pinch together with your finger and continue all the way around.
Whisk the egg together in a bowl, then brush the egg wash over the puff pastry. Sprinkle with a large pinch of salt, then place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes or until pastry is golden brown.
Let cool for 5-10 minutes then serve and enjoy!
